5 Things to do While You’re Pregnant

When we find out we’re pregnant the time is very exciting!  We’re a little overwhelmed but happy that a new addition to the family is just in the near future.  There are a lot of things you will want to do if you’ve never been pregnant before.  To give you some tips ahead of time to have some fun, look back at the memories and be prepared consider a few of these things below!

5 Things to do While You’re Pregnant:

Last trip:  Try to take a last trip with your spouse or significant other before the baby comes.  This will be the last time the two of you can enjoy a nice vacation without taking care of a baby or worrying about them.  Enjoy these last moments together!

Pictures:  It is fun to see how much you’re growing each week.  We grow so steadily that we don’t realize how much bigger we’re actually getting.  Therefore, you should take a picture each week of your pregnancy.  Start from the day you found out that you’re pregnant until the end.  Then compare each week and see where you really started to grow.

To do list:  There are always those few things that are nagging at us.  Whether it’s to pay down your credit cards, to paint the bathroom, to go to the dentist or to make a trip to visit some family try to get it done before the baby.  You will feel so much more accomplished and you will finally have those things done before your life becomes a little hectic.

Prepare:  Prepare for the baby as much as possible.  Be sure to have a baby shower, have the nursery all set up, the car seat installed, your labor bag packed and make sure you’re ready for the baby and ready to go!

Routine:  You also want to get in some kind of routine during your pregnancy.  Try to eat a healthy diet, take your prenatal vitamin each day and get in some exercise each week.  These are crucial to having a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy.
