7 Month Old Feeding Schedule

Your baby is 7 months already and is more active and talkative than ever!  He/She may be starting to repeat things like “da da” or may even be trying to crawl.  Regardless of what they’re doing, they are growing very quickly and their schedules are starting to change.

Not sure how much your 7 month old should be eating and how often?  Continue reading below for a sample schedule.

8 a.m.:  Your little one is up for the day and is more than ready to have breakfast.  This bottle is typically 6-8 ounces worth.

11 a.m.:  It’s now time for their first nap and their second bottle.

2 p.m.:  Lunch time is here and they are ready for some yummy baby food.  At this time, they will most likely be eating stage 2 dishes or about 1/3 cup of homemade baby food.  Along with this is usually a bottle with 4-6 ounces to wash it down.

5 p.m.:  They are ready for their last nap of the day and another bottle with about 6 ounces.

7 p.m.:  It’s now dinner time with the family and another dish of baby food can be given.  Along with that, they can have another 6 ounces bottle.

9 p.m.:  They are getting ready for bed and are ready for their last bottle of the night – 6-8 ounces worth.

Always remember that every baby is different.  Some babies need more food to get throughout the day and others don’t need that much.  It all depends on your baby’s growth, activities throughout the day and their schedules.  A lot of baby’s drink according to their weight.  It’s usually 2.5 ounces per pound they weigh.  This is just a sample baby schedule.

As you’ve probably already noticed, baby food isn’t the cheapest.  Therefore, I recommend making homemade baby food or considering these ways to save on baby food.  Need some ideas on how to make your own baby food?  Here are some great baby food cookbooks to consider!
