When we’re a new parent we’re also new to having a baby and what their schedule should be like. We want to make sure we get them on the right path, give them everything they need and make sure they are getting enough rest. If your baby has reached 3 months of age their schedule will most likely look something like this:
A Sample Baby Schedule for a 3-4 Month Old:
5 a.m.: Wake up to check on the baby, change their diaper, feed them and put them back to sleep.
7 a.m.: Wake up and feed them, then put them back down to sleep.
9 a.m.: Your little one should be waking up for the day so change their diaper, bathe them and get them dressed for the day.
11 a.m.: They will most likely be hungry so feed them a bottle and then let them play in their bouncer or pack and play for a while. Also, do a diaper check.
1 p.m.: Change their diaper and put them back to sleep for a nap.
2 p.m.: Wake them up and feed them a bottle.
3 p.m.: Allow them to play or set them in their bouncer so you can get work done and they can play with their toys.
4 p.m.: Make some dinner for the family and then play with them.
5 p.m.: Feed them another bottle and lay them down for another nap.
6:30 p.m.: Change their diaper and play with them some more.
8 p.m.: Feed them another bottle for dinner and do a diaper check.
9:30 p.m.: Play with them for a little while, feed them their last bottle and change them into their pajamas.
10 p.m.: Time to lay them down for the night.
As you can see, there is a lot that goes on during the day. It will seem like you’ve changed 20 diapers, fed a million bottles and played with them all day but they need that attention. Give them all the attention they need and make sure they get enough rest. If your little one is yawning throughout the day they need more sleep!
It is always fun to get some more advice and learn more about your child. There are several great baby books on the market to check out! For example, the book “The Happiest Baby on the Block” received almost a 5 star rated with over 700 reviews!
