1179461_vegetablesWe never know what our babies are going to like when it comes to eating.  They could be extremely picky, and spit out everything we give them, or they can be open minded and want to eat everything in sight.  If you’re baby is more on the picky side, you want to make sure you help them develop their taste buds.  Try to find foods they like, and continue to give them the foods they don’t like.  Over time they may find that they aren’t so bad, and they actually do like them.  Getting your baby to not be so picky may be tough, but there are ways to help them eat more!

Options – First of all, there are so many different foods out there.  Therefore, you want to introduce them to several different kinds.  Allow them to try a little bit of everything.  You will definitely find what they like, and what they don’t like this way.

Fruits and vegetables – Fruits and vegetables are something we really hope they like.  These are very important foods and give us what we need to stay healthy.  Therefore, you really want to stress these on your baby.  If they don’t like one thing, don’t give up, but instead keep trying more different kinds!

Continue – If they don’t like a certain food that is really good for them, for example carrots, try to keep giving it to them.  They may just not be hungry, or not hungry for that item.  If so, they can come off as they don’t like it.  So, continue to give your baby the foods they may not be fond of.  Over time they will most likely develop to like it!

There are some foods that you and I don’t like, and therefore we know just not to eat them.  So, after a few tries if your baby doesn’t like it, don’t force it.  Just never give up on one or two chances.  Consider a few of these tips, open them up to all different varieties, and see what they like most!
