If you’re a husband whose wife is about to become a new mom, I hope you realize how much work she has already done, and how much she is about to take on.  Women make a lot of sacrifices to have children.  Between taking on more responsibility, and allowing their body to change in some ways they don’t like, it’s a big deal.

The least you can do is help out with your new baby, and think of giving her a nice gift.  It doesn’t have to be anything big, but instead just something to let her know you’ve thought of her.  Not sure what to get your wonderful lady?  Here are some great ideas!

Spa package:  Your lady’s body has gone through a lot of stress, and will continue to heal for the next 6 weeks.  Allow her to get a massage, pedicure or even her hair done.  Women don’t usually feel that beautiful after having a baby.  They are sleep deprived, need time to relax, and don’t have time to pamper themselves.

Shopping gift cards:  All women love to shop, whether they want a new purse, or new clothes that aren’t maternity, you can take her out shopping for a day or consider getting her a gift card to her favorite store.

Night away:  You don’t realize how much attention and how sleep deprived you will really be until the baby arrives.  Take time to get away with your partner.  Have someone babysit for the night, and allow the two of you to just spend time together and sleep in!

There are several ways to be creative when it comes to showering your partner.  After all, she did give you the greatest gift she could!  So, take time and do something for her!
