How to Cure Diaper Rash

Are you having trouble with your little one?  There is nothing worse than to see our baby suffer.  Especially when it’s something as simple as diaper rash.  There is nothing they can do, their bottom is soar, and their skin is chapped.  You’re the only one that can help them when it happens.  So, lets make sure we take the right steps the first time around that way we can see them happy and smiling again!

How to Cure Diaper Rash:

Change – First of all, you need to make sure you’re not leaving them in a dirty diaper for too long.  Make sure you check them every few hours, and make sure their little bottom is dry at all times.  Leaving them in their mess will just irritate their skin.

Cloth diapersIt is also a good idea to try out cloth diapers.  They are easier on your little one’s skin, and don’t have that plastic feel to them.

Bare – It is also a good idea to leave their butt bare throughout parts of the day and at night.  When a diaper is on them 24/7 is leaves their skin chapped, and irritates it leaving their skin not able to breathe.

LotionNow, you will want to lotion up their bottom.  Use just a baby lotion, and be sure to put this on a couple times a day to see if it’s helping.

MedicationIf the lotion and nothing else is working, you may want to consider getting medicated diaper rash lotion.  This will give their skin what it needs to heal properly and to help prevent their diaper rash from happening again.

There are a few different things you can do to prevent and to cure diaper rash.  To make sure your little one doesn’t suffer too long, use these actions quickly.  We hate to see them upset, especially when they’re in pain.  So, take good care of them, and consider a few of these tips!
