How to Help Prevent Strech Marks During Pregnancy

There are several exciting things about being pregnant, and very few burdens when you’re pregnant.  Although, one burden that most women want to avoid and prevent as much as possible is stretch marks.  There are several different cases of stretch  marks, some being very faded while others are a purplish pink color that really stand out.  If you’re looking for ways to prevent your stretch marks from coming badly, consider a few of these tips!

How to Help Prevent Strech Marks During Pregnancy:

  1. Just doing daily stretches can help your skin with it’s elasticity.  This will stretch it in a way that helps your body and muscles.  So, be sure to stretch daily to keep your muscles loose and to stretch your skin little bits at a time.
  2. There are several different lotions out there, but the most popular for stretch marks are the ones that include coco butter.  I highly recommend getting Palmers or Bella B.  These are on the cheaper end and still can get the job done.
  3. If the stretching and lotion isn’t enough for you, you should try oil as well.  There is a great oil called “Bio Oil” which is known to work rather well for the price.

Stretch marks aren’t a pretty site and can really diminish our self confidence, especially if we’re still in shape and just want to get into a bikini.  Although, if you do end up getting stretch marks don’t feel like you’re alone.  The majority of pregnant women get stretch marks on their breasts, stomachs, butt, hips and that whole area.

So, if you’re looking to try and prevent them as much as possible, don’t go crazy and spend too much on those lotions.  Consider these tips listed above, and try out these great lotions and oils for a much cheaper price!
