Whether your period is late or you think that your body feels out of wack, the question “Am I pregnant?” often comes up. We may be aware of a few of the symptoms, but once we fall into the category of having more than a couple, there is a great chance that we may be pregnant.
At this point the time is exciting and a little overwhelming. If you’re trying to figure out if you’re pregnant or not and don’t have a pregnancy test or have had your blood taken, see if you have a few of these symptoms for now.
How to Tell if You’re Pregnant:
- Missed period – This is the most obvious symptom you will have when you’re pregnant.
- Implantation bleeding – Another sign is implantation bleeding. If you have spotting or cramping it is known to be another sign.
- Tender breasts – This is a symptom a majority of women have when they’re pregnant.
- Tired – Are you more tired than usual? Do you feel like you could sleep all day? This is another sign to look out for!
- Nausea/Morning sickness – Do you feel a little nauseous? Women usually get this when they’re 2-8 weeks pregnant.
- Backaches – Backaches are something that come and go throughout the whole time of pregnancy.
- Headaches – There is nothing worse than getting a headache. If you’re getting them more than usual, look into other symptoms.
- Urination – Having to go to the bathroom a few more times than usual is something women experience around the 6-8 week period.
- Areolas – The skin darkening around your nipples is another thing to look out for. This is common amongst pregnant women.
There are a few different symptoms to look out for if you think you’re pregnant. They range differently for every woman, but the majority of us will experience a handful of the ones listed above. If you’re still unsure, consider getting a pregnancy test and a blood test. It is best to find out as soon as possible!
