Bite - A lot of parents tend to bite their babies fingernails off. They are super soft, and will easily peel off. This is harmless to the both of you, and can be done very easily. Although, if this doesn’t sound too appealing to you (which a lot of moms don’t want to do), there are other options!
Emery board – Simply file down your babies nails like you would your own. This avoids any clipping, biting, and any pain. Get an emery board, and simply file away! Just be sure to do this slowly, so you don’t file them too short.
Clippers – You can also use baby clippers. There are special clippers that were made just for babies. These are very easy to use, are made for the size of their nails, and will do the trick in a just a minute.
