I just want to start by saying, breast is best! You should always consider at least trying breastfeeding, here are 10 good reasons to breastfeed! Although, every mom is different and it’s not always the easiest for every mom, and so then that is where formula comes in. Formula is great, not as good as the natural breast milk, but it is definitely nutritious and safe otherwise it would not be on the shelves or OK by the FDA.
A lot of mom’s wonder which one is more convenient, so I’m going to tell you the convenience both of them have!
Breastfeeding convenience:
- You don’t have to go to the store to get the supplies to feed your baby. Instead, you can simply breastfeed.
- Breastfeeding is 100% free, unless you’d like to consider the popular breastfeeding supplies.
- You don’t have to make bottles in the middle of the night, or heat them up.
Formula convenience:
- You don’t have to worry about breastfeeding in public.
- There is no worry that your nipples will leak milk in public, so no reason to wear breast pads.
- Your partner and other friends and family can take turns feeding the baby for that special bonding time.
- With formula, there is no engorgement or swollen breasts.
As you can see, there are perks to both. Moms often complain about the pain associated with breastfeeding. Between clogged ducts, engorged breasts, tenderness, and cracked nipples, it can take a toll on your body. But, when you look at your precious baby, it’s all worth it. Always at least give breastfeeding a try before you knock it!
Breast milk is always best and the healthiest thing for your baby and that will never change. Although, dont’ feel bad if it doesn’t work out for your baby. A good portion of moms are using formula these days!

My wife tried breastfeeding, but it just didn’t work out. In a way though, I’m glad that I get to share the moments of feeding my daughter too. I’m sure my wife appreciates the help too! LOL!
I breastfed for the first 4 months, but after that I fould bottle feeding formula was much easier. At least my baby got my milk for the first few months. It was a whole lot cheaper that’s for sure!
