Cell phones – Cell phones are used by so many people when they’re driving.  People talk on them, text, use it as a navigation system, etc.  Although, if you want to make sure your child is safe, and that you are too don’t even pick up your cell phone.  It is way too hard to concentrate when use it and drive at the same time.  Not to mention, a few places are trying to make it illegal.  So, if you really care about your little one’s safety, don’t touch your phone.

Radio/GPS – Also, don’t get caught up in silly things like a GPS and the radio.  These can be dangerous while driving as well.  Constantly changing the song, and trying to find where you want to go while driving can be a little tricky, especially when the traffic is bad.  So, take a breath, and just focus on the road.

No distractions – Try to eliminate all the distractions while you’re driving.  This may be hard if your baby’s screaming, if the traffic is bad, your phone is ringing, and you just missed your exit, but just try to focus on the road.  Nothing is more important than safety.
