Once we’re a parent our life is even busier.  We have more errands to run, more to do and a lot more going out.  With so much on our to do list being “on the go” is a very common thing for us.  Although, when we have a baby it’s a little bit different.  We also need a lot more supplies than just our purse or wallet now.  Here are a few things you wouldn’t want to leave the house without.

Car seat:  Not only is it against the law to drive your baby around without a car seat, it is also very dangerous.  We have a whole website that is dedicated to finding you the prefect car seat - findmycarseat.com.

Stroller:  We don’t always have the energy or the free hands to carry our little one around constantly.  Therefore, a stroller comes in very handy especially when we’re doing a days worth of shopping.

Sling/front carrier:  Another great thing to carry around with you is your baby in a front carrier.  Always know where your little one is, what they’re doing and if they’re ok by watching them.

Diaper bag:  You can’t go without their diaper bag!  This has everything from diapers to juice bottles, snacks, wipes to toys when they get fussy.

Portable playpen:  Playpens are great to keep in your vehicle.  If it’s a nice day at the park you can simply set that up and let them play, or if you plan on going to their grandparents house simply set it up in their yard.

Sun shields:  To block the sun from your little one’s eyes, I highly recommend sun shields.  Place these on the windows, protect your little one’s eyes and keep the area cool by blocking the hot sun.

When we take our little one with us it is a good idea to have all of these supplies!  These will keep them entertained, us happy and them comfortable and safe at all times!
