Pregnancy is an exciting thing, and is something that we slowly learn about as it happens, especially if this is our first child. As a mom-to-be we are always curious to know what is happening, and we are more impatient than ever to see our little one for the first time. Although it takes time, they will be here before you know it. So, we’ve made it this far, what’s happening now and until the third trimester? Continue reading below to find out!
Second Trimester:
- This is an exciting state because your baby’s organs begin to develop and mature over time starting with the second trimester.
- Right now, your baby is covered with a creamy, white substance called vernix caseosa. This is important because it protects the skin from exposure to the amniotic fluid.
- This is also a great trimester because most woman are feeling good about their pregnancy, have more energy, and strength.
At first, we might of had some morning sickness, and weren’t feeling to well, but from here on out things tend to look up! The morning sickness will usually decrease, and your pregnancy is starting to show. We are finally getting that cute little bump in our tummy, and we can see that we’re pregnant. It’s fun when we get to start seeing the results of our baby right from our stomach. As time goes on, you will start seeing your stomach rise more and more!
Pregnancy is a wonderful thing, and when the baby is born it is very rewarding. All this time we’ve prepared, and took care of our baby to make it healthy and strong. Before we no it, the baby is here, and we’re thinking about having another one!
