It’s that time of year again, Thanksgiving! The holiday is right around the corner, and our children are getting excited! Their Thanksgiving party is coming up at school soon, and they’re ready for their next break off. If you’re children are bored at home on the weekend, be sure to have fun with them and to make some fun Thanksgiving crafts. Need some ideas? Continue reading below.
Hand turkey: There’s nothing better than the classic hand turkey. Trace your little one’s hand, cut it out and decorate it to resemble a turkey. You will do this by tracing their hand several times, and by putting their hand as the turkey and as the features. Then, draw some eyes and a face! Be sure to be creative with the colors of paper!
Pipe cleaners: Grab some pipe cleaners and make candy corn, a pilgrim hat or another turkey. These are very easy to use, and are very cheap as well!
Pine cone: Be sure to grab a pine cone from outside so your little ones can dress it up. Get the pine cone, put pipe cleaners as the feathers, and decorate it with eyes and some glitter!
Reese’s pieces: Get a little bag, and put some Reese’s pieces in it. Make sure they fall into the corner, and then you tie the top of it. This will then resemble an ear of Indian corn once you wrap ribbon around the top of it.
Pilgrim hat: Pilgrim hats are fun and cute to make out of construction paper too! Little boys just love it and want to wear it all day. Grab some black construction paper and some yellow for the buckle on top!
