Do you know someone that is expecting? If so, this time must be pretty exciting for you, them and everyone around them. Whether or not they’re having a baby shower, it is nice to acknowledge them and the baby coming. Babies can be very expensive, therefore giving gifts even if they’re small, really helps out a ton! So, not sure what to give them? We don’t want to give them something they don’t want or can’t use, so consider a few of these “best gifts”
What are the Best Gifts for Pregnant Women?
Diapers: Diapers are a great gift! They may seem lame to give, but really, pregnant women want what they need before what they “want”. Babies go through thousands of diapers, so if you help prepare them for that, they will really appreciate it!
Bottles: No one really thinks of giving bottles as a present, that is why it’s a good one. Babies use several bottles throughout the day, so consider getting them some nice bottles. (Dr. Browns are highly rated.)
Gift cards: Gift cards to places like Babies R’ Us and other baby stores are much appreciated. It allows them to pick out exactly what they want. It may seem like too easy of a gift with no thought, but trust me they will appreciate it more than some other things!
Toys: Baby toys are great. It seems like babies love toys that make noise, they can easily pick up and stuffed animals. I wouldn’t buy them anything too big or too noisy, but simple toys can really make a nice present and their baby happy.
Spa: The woman that is pregnant has probably went through some tough times. It’s nice to think about the baby, but what about the mother? They could always use a massage to help with the swelling, to relax them and to treat them once for the 9 months they will be working so hardly!
Flowers: Flowers are a great gift for any occassion. Whether you send them in the mail as a surprise, or you help decorate a baby shower with flowers, you’re guaranteed a few smiles and a beautiful sight!
There are so many great gifts to give to pregnant women. My advice is to give them something that most people won’t. A lot of people give out clothes, bibs, blankets, burp cloths, etc. Therefore, you want to avoid giving these gifts so they aren’t overwhelmed with too much of the same thing!
